A biotech leader with nearly two decades of experience transforming start-ups and established ISO/GMP facilities across the innovative biotechnology/synthetic biology sector.

Majid has been the driving force behind several significant turnarounds and has a proven track record of building cohesive teams, fostering proactive cultures and preparing businesses for successful future outcomes. His trademark approach is visionary, practical and empowering, creating productive environments which motivate colleagues at every level.

Majid’s previous roles include Operational Site Director at gene editing company, Horizon Discovery; interim COO/ Head of Operations at biotech firm, bit.bio; and Head of Operations at emergent start-up, DefiniGEN.

With over 25 years’ experience working primarily in the life science sector, Jonathan has a proven senior leadership track record of building cultures of high-performance and excellence across service and operations.

Jonathan’s strengths and passion lie in enabling organisations to improve their cohesion and effectiveness by deciphering, clarifying and aligning on what matters to achieve success.

Jonathan’s international experience spans Europe, Asia, and USA. He spent two decades working at life science and biotech company, Sigma Aldrich (Merck KGaA), where he held various top-tier roles including Head of Customer Excellence, Western Europe; Director, Process Improvements, EMEA; and Director of Operations. Most recently, Jonathan was Director of Operational Excellence at Revvity (formerly Horizon Discovery).
